A Twin e-Learning centre, supported by SMILE Foundation was initiated in the Badarpur area in mid 2007.
Objective
Impart employable and marketable skills like spoken and written English and Computer Education to the underprivileged adolescent youth, residing in locations near the Badarpur area, from where the centre operates.
The programme also aims at imparting Soft skills like-
- Basic Management including Retail and Sales Management
- Personality Development, Career opportunities and Counselling, Team Work and Leadership qualities.
- Gender Issues
- Reproductive and Sexual Health, HIV/AIDS issues

Placement Details
Previous batch-
- 50% of the students were placed, majorly in retail houses, telemarketing, data entry jobs and BPOs.
- To increase placements, students who join the course, are oriented carefully with a focus on post training placements.
- Efforts are being made to take students for visits to various outlets like malls, BPOs etc. to make them aware of the kinds of jobs and opportunities available.
- The target is to achieve 80% placements for the current batch.
